This week's photo is a still shot of a video, found here, that shows a comet entering the sun on March 13th. My students are always excited by anything related to astronomy, so I figured other educators could certainly use this video in their classrooms. I plan to show the video as a Do Now exercise and have the kids come up with ideas about what it is before showing them this article from Discovery News, which explains what is happening. It's a great way to get kids making predictions and getting engaged in science.
