Teacher's Diary

The writers of TeachersDiary.com are all teachers in the New York City public schools. We are first year teachers as of September 2009, working through the New York City Teaching Fellows program and Teach for America in a variety of subjects and neighborhoods. We hope to close the achievement gap one student at a time, by working in high-needs schools and becoming the best teachers we can be. Through this website, we hope to share our stories of frustration and success, but also to gain insight and experience from other teachers, both in New York and beyond. We hope you enjoy the site!
